About the role
The Growth Marketing Manager will help create the LimeBike marketing playbook for each new market including local PR, social media marketing, events, partnerships, and on-the-ground trial promotions. The LimeBike GMM will serve as the head of marketing for our launching markets and will later empower marketing managers with the right playbook to scale our efforts. You will help to optimize our approach for every step of the user experience funnel - building brand awareness, driving trial and adoption, and generating insights to continuously improve our product and customer experience.
Build the marketing playbook that city launchers and city managers can execute in each new market -- will include research, insights, localized PR, event marketing, promotion management, social media and content marketing.
Execute on specific areas and source/manage individual contributors/contractors/agencies in other parts of the funnel
Measure return on marketing dollars invested behind specific initiatives to optimize playbook for future markets
Serve as the head of marketing for first LimeBike markets
Generate breakthrough media, content, or partnership opportunities that elevate the brand
Be the LimeBike brand ambassador and manage the brand across social media accounts and content platforms
Own our content development process
Manage creative resources (agency + contractors + internal designers) to continuously build the LimeBike brand, prioritize requests, and ensure execution is on brand.
Ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels. Shape the go-to-market strategy for the brand as well as roll up sleeves, experiment with different approaches, measure, learn, and iterate.
Marketing know-how. Experience leading at least two primary functions of a tech company marketing mix - research, insights, social, CRM, content, events, marketing analytics, app optimization, PR, etc. General marketing managers who have led in multiple areas and have experience with the right tools will be a plus.
Pure hustle: We are a startup, which means not everything will go according to plan. You are an energetic person who is not afraid of getting your hands dirty and will pull the long hours when the need arises.
Focus to execute: Being a marketing manager means you are doing a million things at once. You are able to prioritize the highest impact projects and execute well under pressure.
An analytical mindset: You can follow up each campaign with a cost benefit analysis, and continue to prioritize / iterate on high impact projects.
Leadership: As this role involves recruiting and managing a team of full and part time brand ambassadors, ideally you have prior people management experience.
2 to 5 years of experience in marketing or Ops role required.
