We are proud to donate our first month’s local ridership revenue to the community at the annual Back to School Summer Jam this past weekend. The event was hosted by the Key Biscayne Police Chief, Key Biscayne Community Foundation, and the Miami Children’s Initiative.

Key Biscayne has a special place in LimeBike’s journey. This is the first municipality where LimeBike first launched. We are a mission-driven company— we work closely with the local community and take an active part in giving back. Contributing to the Key Biscayne Community Foundation is an example of our commitment to our mission.
— Yuki Lin, Key Biscayne community representative from LimeBike

We hope that the contribution will provide Biscayne Community Foundation's Sister City Initiative, which joins the Village of Key Biscayne and neighboring Liberty Cit, additional support to at-risk children and low-income families.

Key Biscayne Police Chief, Charles Press, who leads the Foundation’s work in Liberty City through the Chief Press Foundation accepted the donation on behalf of the organization.

We’re thrilled to have partnered with a company that understands the value of community and local engagement. Not only does LimeBike’s commitment strengthen our relationship with the rest of the business community, but we look forward to promoting innovative programs and working with the public in the future together.
— Key Biscayne Police Chief, Charles Press

The event supports the organizations’ collaborative efforts to ensure that all children and their families are enrolled in educational and social programs during the upcoming school year. A barbecue, fun games, and giveaways like school uniforms, shoes, and other school supplies were distributed onsite as well.
